Tonight we start our preparation for the celebration of #Imbolc. Imbolc is one of the 8 Great Harvest Festivals. It is a time sacred to the Brigid, who began her life as a Pagan Goddess and ended up a Christian saint. She is a Goddess of Fire, Creativity and Fertility. She is known as the Goddess of poetry, smith-craft and healing. She is patroness of inspiration and midwifery. She has also been associated with the martial arts.
